A Photographic Journey Through Shanghai's Parks (2020–2022)
Shanghai’s parks are more than just green spaces—they’re the city’s social heartbeat. In a place where life moves fast, these pockets of quiet offer a chance to slow down. From early morning tai chi to impromptu dance sessions and lively games, they are always alive with movement and connection.
In this series, I explore the contrast between that energy and the solitude that still exists within it. Among the crowds, there are always individuals lost in their own thoughts—watching, resting, simply being.
Through my lens, I capture these quiet moments within the rush of daily life. Each image is a glimpse into Shanghai’s park culture, where people come together yet remain distinctly themselves.
It’s a reflection of how, even in the middle of a bustling city, we find space to breathe.
